Mademoiselle Macaron is delighted to announce that we are nominated for the Scotland Food and Drink Excellence Award 2015. Our macarons are up against Charlotte Flower Chocolates in the confectionery and snacking category. We are unbelievably excited for the ‘Scottish food and drink Oscars’ at the National Museum of Scotland on the 27th of May. Fingers crossed!
Why not judge for yourself and try our macarons here? We sent the award judges chocolate & passionfruit, Innis & Gunn beer and salted caramel flavours to sample, along with a rainbow macaron box to look at.
Congratulations to all of our fellow nominees for the SF&D Excellence Awards, during the Year of Food and Drink Scotland 2015. We are particularly happy for our friends at Rock Rose Gin on their nomination for the alcoholic drink category- a very important category indeed!
The awards ceremony for the Tom Buchanan Business Awards is another award we have high hopes for. Mademoiselle Macaron has been selected as a finalist for the young entrepreneur award. The award is aimed at small businesses, in memory of the late Tom Buchanan, former senior councillor.
EDIT: We won! Read more here!
One more award we have entered is the Guild of Fine Food Great Taste Award. For this award, the food is stripped of its outer packaging and judged purely on taste. It must be tough being a judge and having to scoff down delicious food all day!
We are entering our macarons into the Gluten Free category and the Small Individual Cake category. Wish us luck!
It’s an exciting time for Mademoiselle Macaron. This is all thanks to our wonderful team, our fabulous customers and of course our delicious macarons!
À bientôt! Mademoiselle x
