HIRING! - Retail Manager

Mademoiselle Macaron is looking for an amazing manager to join our team and act as the head Mademoiselle/Monsieur of a new and exciting retail outlet based in Edinburgh. 

We are an award winning company that specialise in making luxury French macarons. 

This role isn’t just about selling the product we make, this is about hosting an experience where a customer gets to create their own unique box of flavours that will transport them to Paris - the home of the macaron. 

No one day will be the same in this retail setting and you’ll meet a whole host of people. We want you to be as much our brand ambassador as a manager who is a boss at stock taking. 


  • Cash handling and banking
  • Ordering in and managing stock levels of our macarons, merchandise and packaging 
  • Managing staff, creating rotas, processing holiday requests etc. 
  • Reporting to the management team on sales reports
  • Managing marketing and promotional campaigns specific to the retail location
  • Ensuring the retail area is kept clean and beautiful to maintain high standards


  • Minimum 1-2 years of management experience 
  • Experience with an EPOS system like Shopify
  • Enthusiasm for the brand and product 
  • First Aid certificate (training can be given if required)
  • Flexibility on hours

We will ask for references and the position will require flexibility around hours. 

Start Date: May 2019 for training and our new outlet will open June 2019.
