HIRING! Sales Assistants

Mademoiselle Macaron is looking for an amazing group of part and full time Messieurs and Mesdemoiselles to join our team at a new and exciting retail outlet based in west Edinburgh. 

This role isn’t just about selling the product we make, this is about hosting an experience where a customer gets to create their own unique box of flavours that will transport them to Paris - the home of the macaron. 

No one day will be the same in this retail setting and you’ll meet a whole host of people. 

Responsibilities:

  • Cash handling 
  • Explaining and educating our customers on our product as well as handling daily sales transactions
  • Ensuring the retail area is kept clean and beautiful to maintain high standards

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in retail is ideal
  • Experience with an EPOS system like Shopify even better
  • Enthusiasm for the brand and product is a must
  • Flexibility on hours as shifts will range from early morning to later evening and we will be open seven days a week. 

We will ask for references and the position will require flexibility around hours. 

Start Date: May 2019 for training and our new outlet will open June 2019.

Interviews to be held on 8th and 9th May at our kitchen in Leith.
