Macarons

Our Macarons remain fresh for 7 days if kept refrigerated and are best served at room temperature. We cannot guarantee you won’t be tempted to eat them all immediately. 

Oui! All our flavours are gluten free and have received official gluten free certification. For the ease of our customers with food intolerances we have listed all the ingredients contained in our macarons under the macarons tab on our website. If seasonal flavours happen to contain gluten, we will always highlight this on our online store and in any printed material received with your macarons.

Not within our core range at present but we’re always working on things and tweaking recipes in the kitchen.

Not all our macarons contain chocolate. For the ease of our customers with food intolerances we have listed all the ingredients contained in our macarons under the macarons tab on our website. Here you will be able to explore our range of flavours and find the perfect macaron for your dietary needs

Oui, all of our macarons are suitable for vegetarians. Should a seasonal release not be suitable for vegetarians we will always highlight this on our online store and in any printed material received with your macarons.

Oui! Our vegan macarons are available to order online subject to availability.

When people order macarons, the sender’s name will appear on the packing slip. they can leave a note if they want us to handwrite a message but other than that we don’t include the billing details of the buyer in the parcel. If this still doesn’t answer your query, unfortunately we cannot reveal details of the sender without their permission due to data protection rules.

Our packaging doesn’t just look great, we’ve put a lot of work into ensuring your macarons are as safe as possible inside too! We’ve been sending macarons up and down the country for years with many happy customers.

We do rely on responsible couriers so we cannot take responsibility for mishandling in transit. Due to the nature of the product, we cannot offer a 100% guarantee that every macaron arrives intact but we will always try our best to handle any queries about this.

How To Order

We try to keep our flavour list fresh and seasonal, so we rotate a lot of our flavours which is why we do not have all flavours available all year round. If you are looking to order a bespoke order of 100 macarons or more, we are able to offer custom flavours. Get in touch to discuss.

Your discount code will appear on the screen upon completion of the newsletter sign-up form, we'll also send an email detailing the code. You must enter this discount code in manually at checkout, it will not be applied automatically.

At checkout there is a box where you can write your message. This will be printed on the packing slip, or, where a greetings card has been selected and paid for, it will be handwritten in the card.

We think the macarons are beautiful enough to wow people without wrapping paper.

The answer is non. We know that many of our customers give macarons as gifts so we don’t include invoices with payment details.

We offer a multi-shop option which you will see at checkout so you can order more than one box and send them to different addresses. Please note that you will be charged a shipping cost for each delivery and we cannot offer this service on our custom picker gift boxes.

Delivery

We send macarons all across the UK and use Royal Mail and DPD couriers (for larger orders) for UK and N.Ireland orders.

We dispatch with Royal Mail 1-2 day service (Tracked 24) or Royal Mail Special Delivery.

We ship orders UK wide using Royal Mail Tracked 24 and Special delivery services. Larger orders are dispatched with couriers.

Royal Mail shipments are delivered in 1-2 business days from date of dispatch (this is their Tracked 24 service). The majority of orders (+90%) will be delivered next day. Royal Mail will inform of the delivery date and window to the email and phone number provided.

If you're unsure whether you've placed your order ahead of our cut-off, do contact us and one of our team of Mademoiselles will be happy to help.

You will be provided with a tracking number when we dispatch. This will allow you to follow the macarons on their journey.

Orders are shipped out by the team Monday to Friday.

For certain postcodes (remote and Highlands & Islands or Northern Ireland) we may be unable to guarantee a next day delivery service. If this is applicable our team will be in touch to let you know and make all the arrangements we can to get your macarons to you as quickly as possible.

Where requested, we will send orders as close as we can to the special day but are bound to the availability of Royal Mail or DPD during bank holidays and the festive season. All customers will be sent a tracking number with which you can track your parcel and kept in the loop during seasonal holidays.

Our Edinburgh kitchen is now open for free Click & Collect! We operate this service Monday - Friday, 10am - 4pm. Please bring your order number and ring the bell at 11 Stewartfield for attention. Please do not come to collect your order until you have received notification that it is ready (usually within 24 hours, Monday-Friday).

Subscriptions and Subscribe & Save

In our subscription products collection you can choose between prepaid, or monthly payment subscription boxes.

Oui! Our subscriptions make fantastique gifts and are the gift that keeps on giving! Simply pop the recipient's address details in at the checkout and we'll send their boxes directly to them each month. Make sure to leave a note to them at checkout so we can let them know who it's from.

Please note that the customer postal where you access information about your subscription will be set up under the email address of the sender. Please get in touch if you need to change this.

Our Subscriptions have changed for 2023.

If you order a subscription before the 15th of the month, your first box will be dispatched the next working day by our team. You will then be charged for your next box on the 1st of the following month - and you will receive your next box on the 2nd / 3rd.

If you order after the 15th of the month, the box will be dispatched on the 1st of the following month.

All rolling subscription boxes are now dispatched on 1st of the month (or just after)

You can check your subscription delivery schedule in your customer portal. Here you can skip, or add further boxes as per your requirements, change the delivery address or extend / amend an existing subscription type.

Yes, in your customer portal you can access your delivery schedule. If you'd like to skip a month simply do so by 25th of the month to ensure the next order isn't generated on 1st of the month.

Our subscription boxes will be made up from limited edition special macaron flavours and classic favourites. If you have any questions or specific allergies do contact us and we'll do our best to help.

Non. All of our macaron subscriptions; whether monthly payments or prepaid are priced inclusive of shipping.

The subscribe and save option is available on many of our tray products. The same rules apply re: subscribe and save as for our subscriptions.

Orders placed before 15th of the month will be dispatched next working day, and, the subscription element will kick in on the 1st of the following month.

You're able to see this within your customer portal; make changes or increase and amend your order frequency.

Classes

Classes are run by Mademoiselle Macaron and are held in our kitchen in the Stewartfield Industrial Estate. The street address is Unit 11, Stewartfield, Edinburgh, EH6 5RQ.

To book a course using a Gift Voucher, you are required to redeem it at your cart. Each voucher has a code which must be entered in the coupon section of the shopping cart. Gift Vouchers are valid for one year from date of purchase.

You can access our online course by placing an order on the product page. You will then receive an email with multiple links to the videos and a recipe book. Each step is broken down into stages so that you can take your time baking, starting with 'Making the mixture' and taking it from there. You can make chocolate, vanilla, orange, pistachio or rose macarons according to the recipe booklet. Look at our class FAQ page for more details.

Dietary Information and Allergens

All macarons contain nuts (almonds), eggs (egg whites) and sugar.

For a complete ingredient list please refer to the macaron page and select each individual macaron for an overview of what’s involved. We will include ingredient information with your order

Bespoke Macarons for Events

Yes we do! You can build your own macaron tower online to your specifications or look at our macaron favour options.

Our wedding and corporate orders are completely based around your needs, you can contact us to discuss this further. We need around four weeks’ notice to make sure we have the production capacity to fulfil bespoke orders.
